And each aspect of bringing quality software to fruition is an engineering process in itself, with structured agility, openness, and repeatability. - Paid time off that begins with 15 days in the first year of employment and increases by an additional day annually.
- Pre-tax benefits, through a flexible spending account, to support medical and dependent care expenses.
- Health care. 5AM pays 100% of the health insurance premiums for our employees and their families.
- Dental care. 5AM pays 100% of the dental insurance premiums for our employees and their families.
- Disability insurance (short and long term) paid by 5AM.
- Life insurance. 5AM provides life insurance, at no cost to employees, 1x salary not to exceed $100,000. Employees can opt to purchase additional life insurance through our program.
- Retirement. 5AM’s 401(k) profit sharing plan offers multiple fund options. We also make safe harbor matching contributions to employees’ accounts based on pre-tax contributions, matching 100 percent of the first 3 percent of compensation contributed by an employee, and 50 percent of the next 2 percent of the employee contribution. As profits permit, 5AM also contributes to a profit sharing plan which is subject to a vesting schedule.
