IBM Business Partner

Our Microarray Enterprise Manager allowed us to achieve Independent Software Vendor status with IBM as we used IBM Hardware (x345) and Software (Rational Suite, WebSphere and DB2). The number of our certifications, primarily with regard to our Rational process and product consulting and instructor certifications, allowed us to acheive Advanced Partner status.

We offer training, mentoring and consulting on IBM/Rational product implementations and enjoy the partnering benefits for applying the right technologies that are part of their enormous bundle of services that can be applied to the health care and life science market. Special attention will be payed to their Clinical Genomics Solution, Business Integration and HIPAA compliance automation services.

The Nitor Group focuses in program and portfolio management. Our complementary expertise and approaches creates a unique partnership that allows us to provide a view of clients' needs beyond a single software application or suite, into management of a system of systems.

TGen

TGen – The Translational Genomics Research Institute – is a not-for-profit research institute based in Phoenix whose primary mission to make and translate genomic discoveries into advances in human health. Our missions are complimentary and our relationship is strategic – the value of TGen’s relationships, life science executives, and world-class researchers and statisticians combined with our software development expertise and experience serving the life sciences will lead to the creation and enhancement of web-based products.

5AM Solutions is a Health Level 7 member organization to create, shape and contribute to standardization efforts, particularly those that relate to bioinformatics and our niche in translational research. Currently on the Clinical Genomics Sub Committee to develop the XML standard for the sharing of microarray data as it relates to patients and personalized medicine.

Northern Virginia Technology Council

As a member of the NVTC, 5AM Solutions joins the growing number of technology-based companies in Northern Virginia who participate and facilitate the growth of the technology industry in the greater DC area.

Personalized Medicine Coalition PMC

5AM is a member of the Personalized Medicine Coalition because we are strong believers in the benefits and power of personalized medicine. With policy, education, and technology, together we can empower patients, health care providers, and researchers to understand and customize treatments and cures.

5AM Solutions is a member of the Technology Council of Maryland because as software developers, we support technology efforts and collaborations in one of the states in which we do business.

Virginia Biotechnology Association (VaBIO)

5AM Solutions is a now a member of VaBIO. The purpose of the Association is to promote the bioscience industry in Virginia, expand the knowledge and expertise of Virginia's businesses concerning the life sciences through seminars, educational publications and to enhance public awareness of the biotechnology industry in Virginia. VaBIO represents the interests of the bioscience industry in Virginia before federal, state and local legislators and regulators.

5AM employees donated experience to develop the web site for this nonprofit group, which works to reverse the degradation of our aquatic coastal environment and the loss of species diversity.

The Bhutan Foundation
