5AM Solutions Adds Vice President of Client Services
Joe Croghan brings leadership, proven results in building teams that deliver results
Reston, VA, January 24, 2008 – 5AM Solutions, a growing life science software engineering firm, today announced the appointment of Joe Croghan to a new role for the company, Vice President of Client Services. Croghan will focus on establishing new client relationships, expanding 5AM's use and network of partners, and increasing the company's visibility as the place for clients, engineers, and investors to receive and contribute to "Software For Life™."
Mr. Croghan brings more than 20 years of experience in services, biotech, and finance. As Vice President of Client Operations for Cysive, Inc. (CYSV), Mr. Croghan helped Cysive grow from a small private consulting firm to a nationally recognized, publicly traded technology leader. Prior to joining Cysive, Mr. Croghan served in technical and management roles at Price Waterhouse, Booz-Allen and LGA, Inc. Mr. Croghan was also a founder and Managing Director at Snowbird Capital, an investment fund specializing in small businesses.
Mr. Croghan has a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia. He is a member of the George Washington University Council of Entrepreneurial Tech Transfer & Commercialization (CET2C), the University of Virginia T100 Alumni Mentoring Program, and The Northern Virginia Technology Council's BioMedTech Committee.
